TL;DR
ISAJET 7.48 extends a versatile Monte Carlo event generator for high-energy collisions by integrating AMSB with right-handed sneutrinos, a Z+2 jets process via Helas/MadGraph, and KK graviton production in extra-dimensions. The manual details the physics pipeline—hard scattering, QCD radiation, fragmentation, and beam jets—and provides extensive SUSY support (MSSM, SUGRA, GMSB, AMSB) with both hadronic and $e^+e^-$ modes, plus a robust patch/code-management framework (Patchy/PAM). It also documents input syntax, output formats, decay tables, IDENT codes, and methods for introducing higher-order processes and user-customized event loops. Together, the work presents a comprehensive tool for simulating Standard Model and beyond-Standard Model signatures, enabling detailed phenomenology and detector studies across multiple collider environments.
Abstract
ISAJET is a Monte Carlo program which simulates $pp$, $\bar pp$ and $e^+e^-$ interactions at high energies. This document summarizes the physics underlying the program and describes how to use it. Version~7.48 includes several new features. Anomaly Mediated SUSY Breaking (AMSB) models and right-handed sneutrinos have been added; the latter play a role, e.g., in inverted hierarchy models. A new process generating $Z+\hbox{2 jets}$ based on the Helas library and MadGraph has been added. Another new process generating Kaluza-Klein gravitons in models with extra dimensions has been added.
